Service Description
Learn the Dim Sum 點心 tradition through making fun and cute sweet baos from scratch. Children, family, friends, and colleagues can learn to make adorable animal (or any creative) shaped sweet baos as a team while enjoying dim sum, tea and cocktails on our outdoor patio. This restaurant was opened with the goal to celebrate the art and tradition of Dim Sum. These classes are to encourage people to gather and bond over the making of dim sum. Attendees are also encouraged to learn a few simple Chinese bao making phrases during the class. Colorful chef hats and aprons are provided for use during the class and you are encouraged to get messy with flour and take lots of pictures on the outdoor patio. Each reserved table will be given pre-proofed white and colored dough that you must prepare and knead before creating cute baos. Each table will have enough materials to make 8-20 sweet baos that you can eat there and/or bring home in boxes to give to friends & family as gifts. Each reserved table will be given 2-4 8' bamboo steamers that you will fill with your hand-made baos. Our service team will then deliver your bamboo steamers for steaming in our commercial steamers. Once ready, you will be able to enjoy your baos creation! The sweet baos can be filled with strawberry cheesecake & red bean paste. No raw meats will be used. All materials will be provided, and then returned at the end. Last call to steam baos will be at 4:30pm. Everyone can take leftover dough home to continue making cute baos at home. During the class the kitchen is closed for regular dining and the menu is also limited during the class. The bar is partially open.
