Experience the traditional craft of making dumplings from scratch on our outdoor patio. Learn how to use classic dumpling making tools and learn how to wrap and roll steamed dumplings and soup dumplings in bamboo steamers with owner Sally in a 1.5 hour class. Every student will make at least 6 chicken soup dumplings and 3 chicken bao. All materials and cooking items are provided. This restaurant was opened in honor of Sally's Grandma, who showed her love through food. Dim Sum, 點心, means "Touch of Heart". The tradition of making dim sum is a culinary art practiced by chefs and families to show their love through food. Each dumpling, whether it is steamed or fried, is made with dedication, time, skill, and love. Families make dumplings together as a way of socializing and as a way to celebrate love and abundance. Although Sally is not a Dim Sum Chef. But in order to open this restaurant, she has learned how to make every item on her menu in order to fully understand and appreciate what she has loved her whole life.
